Wedding Photography Pricing

Transparent pricing for film & digital wedding photography

Denver Wedding Photography Coverage

All wedding coverage is based on the needs of each wedding since they are all so different. The below pricing includes the price for digital and film photography coverage. I currently offer an hourly rate with a 6 hour minimum to accommodate different timelines and budgets. I take on a limited amount of weddings each year so that I can provide the best quality and service each couple deserves. I will walk you through any questions or concerns as well as guide you into a wedding package that covers everything most important to you.

Normally I am documenting weddings with 90 guests or less. This let’s me work fully documentary and deliver a gallery that truly shows your entire wedding day. I still encourage those with a higher guest count to reach out if my style aligns with the vision and day you are planning.

Photography Investment & Services

Having the right photographer can change a lot about how your day actually flows. The most common thing I hear is how people wish they spent more time at their wedding verse just taking photos at it. Photography can be a key part of your day but it should not be the main part of your day. When we say goodbye I want you to feel like you were fully taken care of from start to finish. That your coverage was exactly what you needed and excited to see the results. After a day of love and community I want you to be able to say that you got to be fully present and not miss a single moment of your wedding.

You can typically expect your wedding photos back within 6 to 8 weeks after your wedding day.

How long does it take to get wedding photos back?

While each quote is different and custom to your needs I can say most couples spend around $5400 for full day full coverage.

How much do couples normally spend on wedding photography?

Frequently asked questions

For weddings you can expect between 400 to 700 images in your final gallery. For elopements you can expect 100 to 400 images in your final gallery and for couples sessions 40 to 80 images.

How many photos will we get in our gallery?

I do offer a small sneak peek for weddings or elopements that are delivered within 1 week of your event.

Do you provide sneak peeks?

For weddings and elopements a $1000 retainer is due at booking with the remaining balance due 30 days before your event. For couples sessions a 50% retainer is due at booking with the remaining balance due 7 days before your session.

Is there a retainer? When is the rest due?

I recommend booking as early as you can to make sure your date is available, I never want you to feel rushed but I do work on a first come first served basis and cannot guarantee dates.

How far in advance should you book a wedding photographer?

To officially reserve your date a retainer must be paid as well as a signed contract. After that we are set to move into planning!

How do we officially book you?

I do travel! I have traveled to a few places in the US and one day hope to go internationally. I travel all around Colorado and do not charge a travel fee for anything within 2 hours of Denver. Reach out for a quote on travel if you might be outside of that radius.

Do you travel outside of Denver?

I normally work alone due to working with smaller weddings but recommend and can always bring a second photographer to help have fuller coverage. I recommend them for weddings with larger guest counts or for weddings with tight timelines or weddings that have a lot of travel between events.

Do you work alone or bring a second photographer?

I usually leave all planning to wedding planners and think they are one of the most important people on your vendor team. That said I do help plan your timeline for photography either with a planner or with you personally or both. This timeline is mainly for how long certain photo moments might take as well as to make sure I am in the right place for key event during the day. Outside of that planners are so good at making sure the full day is shaped perfectly.

Do you help with timeline planning?

Yes I do! I can help with location guidance, activity ideas, clothing or anything that might be helpful to have my opinion on. I truly love how different everyone is so I will start by getting to know you and try to create a session that showcases who you both are.

Yes absolutely! I think these images are very important to have, these are some of your closest people. I do however try to keep all of these within 20 minutes so that the majority of the day is spent in the wedding and not just doing photos.

Do you photograph family photos or wedding party photos on a wedding day?

Yes I do but my version may be different than some others. What I started to notice was couples weren’t even getting a chance to see their whole venue because of how fast the day was. So for couples photos I invite you on a venue walk where we just walk through every area of the venue and capture you both laughing and chatting while sharing an intimate moment recounting your wedding day.

Do you photograph couples portraits on a wedding day?

I do! I am happy to send over a certificate for any venues who might require that.
